General Q’s

  • What is the email for the front desk?

  • What time is check-in?

    • Check-in is at 4PM.

    • Complimentary early check-ins are based on availability at the time of arrival. If you’d like to guarantee a 12PM early check-in, one can be arranged (upon availability) for $150 plus taxes by emailing reservations@11howard.com.

  • What time is check-out?

    • Check-out is at 11AM.

    • Complimentary late check-outs are based on availability on the day of departure. If you’d like to guarantee a 1PM late check-out, one can be arranged (upon availability) for $75 plus taxes by emailing reservations@11howard.com.

  • What is your affiliation with Marriott’s Bonvoy Loyalty Program?

    • In August 2018, Design Hotels entered into a Loyalty partnership with Marriott Bonvoy. The partnership offers Marriott Bonvoy members more opportunities to earn and redeem points. For more details, please see here.

  • What does the Facilities Fee include?

    • 11 Howard has a mandatory Destination Fee of $35 plus tax per room per night which provides guests with the following inclusive services, amenities and added value offerings: Unlimited Local and Domestic Long-Distance calls, AM coffee service in The Library, Premium WiFi, Access to a local gym.

  • Can you store my luggage?

    • Yes, if you arrive early or have a late flight, we are happy to store your luggage (within your stay dates.)

  • Where can I park my car – do you have valet?

    • Valet ($105) – pull up in front of the hotel on Howard Street.

    • Self-park ($75) – you may self-park nearby at iPark (44 Elizabeth St.)

    • All pricing is based on a 24-hour period with no in & out privileges.

  • What is your pet policy?

    • We are a dog-friendly hotel! We accept dogs under 30 pounds and do require a pet waiver to be completed at check-in. There is a $150 cleaning fee for the stay.

  • What is the smoking policy?

    • This is a fully non-smoking hotel. There is a penalty of $600 for smoking in any of our guest rooms.

  • Do you have a fitness center in the hotel?

    • We have a partnership with a local gym that allows full access for all of our guests.

  • Can you remove my minibar?

    • We can remove all or some so you may use the fridge complimentary. Please reach out to concierge@11howard.com to set up.

  • Can I have my packages delivered to the hotel?

    • Yes – Packages can be delivered to the registered guest. Please address all packages to –[REGISTERED GUEST NAME], 11 Howard St, New York, NY 10013. Your package will be held by security and delivered upon check-in.

  • How much do you hold on my credit card at check-in?

    • Upon check-in, your credit card is authorized for room rate, taxes, fees and an additional $150 for incidentals per day. Upon check-out, any unused portion is released from the card. Please allow 5 to 8 business days for your credit card statement to reflect the final charged amount.

  • Can I pay for someone else’s reservation?

    • Please email reservations@11howard.com so we may send you a secure link to our credit card authorization form.

  • Do you allow photography at the hotel?

    • We do not allow any unauthorized photoshoots of the hotel. For any photoshoot requests, please email sales@11howard.com.

Room Preference

  • Can I get a nice view?

    • You may request one at the front desk when you check in. Keep in mind our rooms have various views for all categories; therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific view.

  • Do you have tubs?

    • A select few Howard King rooms have tubs, but none are guaranteed. Feel free to email reservations@11howard.com to place the request.

  • Do you have connecting rooms?

    • We have limited connecting options within the hotel – please email reservations@11howard.com to confirm availability.

  • Do you provide cribs?

    • We have a few cribs and pack & plays available upon request. Please email reservations@11howard.com to confirm availability.

Outlets

  • Can I order room service?

    • From 7AM – 11PM, room service can be ordered via in-room tablet.

  • Can I get a reservation at Le Coucou?

    • Please note reservations are only available 28 days in advance and fill up quickly. You can look for available reservations via their website.

  • Can I get into the blond?

    • Seating is first come, first serve with the exception of larger parties in excess of 15 guests for which reservations are recommended. Come 10pm guaranteed access to the blond is by means of reservation only.

  • Is there any coworking space in the hotel?

    • Our Library is open from 7AM – 11PM offering a cozy place to work remote while enjoying a refreshment and some bites. Please note that no outside food or drink is allowed at any time.
